Here’s hoping the Japanese sport of Bo-taoshi makes it into the 2020 Olympics
The Japanese sport of “Bo-taoshi” (pole toppling) is a simple capture the flag type of game – but instead of a flag it’s a bloke up a pole, with a team of 75 people trying to knock him off. It makes for quite a spectacle.
What’s even better is that the man at the top of the pole is known as “the Ninja”.
