Relax, It’s Just A Rune “Depicting An Ancient Wind Instrument”
Some new statues outside a shopping centre in Tanum, Sweden, have been unveiled of “runes depicting an ancient wind instrument”. The locals seem to think it depicts something else, of a much more risqué nature.
“There is no humor behind it. It’s about our heritage,” says Magne Andersen, Project Manager for Tanums shopping center, according to Aftonbladet (and Google translate).
“Many people have been up and taken pictures on it. There is a sexual carvings – people will laugh at this,” said one man who works nearby.
