THE POKES 2012: What is your funniest video of the year? Every year The Poke celebrates the best in original UK web comedy. In 2011 you voted for Tom ‘Ska’ Ridgewell with his Zombiefied University Of Lincoln prospectus which now has 2. 7 million views.

There are three categories this year:

Sketches & Spoofs

Animation

Mash-ups

So If you’ve made, or seen, a glittering gem of web video then make sure the creator gets the love they deserve by adding your nominations to the comments box below by Sunday 9th December 2012 – and don’t forget to include a line on why you love that video.

Videos must have been uploaded to YouTube after Jan 1st 2012 and before Monday 3rd Dec 2012.

The winner in each category will win a video commission from The Poke worth £1000

We’ll announce the shortlist of 5 vids in each category on Weds 12th of December. Then it’s up to you to vote for your favourite, with the winner crowned on Tues 18th December – so add your nominations in the comments box below now!
