US Population Relieved That Ad Breaks Return To Being Filled With Budweiser, Not Politics

TV News: Millions of Americans woke this morning, safe in the knowledge that the political campaign ads they have been bombarded with for months have now been replaced with beer commercials.

“It’s been a tough time for everybody across the nation,” said Mike Anonco from Janesville, Wisconsin.

“I almost got to the point when I considered turning the TV off, but in the end I knuckled down and dealt with it. It takes hell of a lot more than Romney or Obama to come between me and an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.”

Now the elections are over, millions are looking forward to their lives getting back to normal.

“Ever since the primaries began last year we’ve been subjected to a constant barrage of political ads from the Republicans and Democrats,” said housewife Jean Bebedor.

“It might be over for me and my family, but it’s the families of campaign volunteers I feel sorry for. Life may never get back to normal for them, especially if they re-watch the campaign ads on YouTube.”

“Now I’m just looking forward to kicking back, turning on the TV and watching a close up of some condensation rolling down the side of a beer bottle, instead of some senator’s face.”
