SHAPEISM with Fenton Back
Dear Fenton,
I am 15 and weigh approximately three hundred
pounds. I just cant stop eating corn chips, fat crackers
and weenies. All the other kids constantly call me fatty.
I know I have it in me to be lean and fit.
I just dont know how to start. Should I concentrate
on diet first and then exercise? Any advice would be very
welcome.
Yours truly, William, Maidenhead.
Fenton says:
The best way to get in shape is to spend time
reflecting on how revolting you look. Fit persons dont
want sacks of fat clogging up the streets. Now I know what
youre going to say William. Hey fenton, arent
you being hard on me, like the bullies at school? And
my answer is NO WAY. Because aged 15 I was as big as you,
and I was bullied like you. I was so fat that I could only
wear a single trouser, or skirt. But the thin
kids were right. I was a disgrace. So with a tablespoon of
perseverance, 2 pints of sweat and a whole kilo of fun, I
turned myself into the man I am today. Diet with exercise
- thats the SHAPEISM philosophy.
Heres a few starter exercises combining
aerobics, martial arts and disco dancing.
