Jacob Rees-Mogg’s changed his mind on Theresa May’s Brexit deal – the only 7 responses you need
Jacob Rees-Mogg says he is now ready to back Theresa May’s Brexit deal despite – and you will probably recall this – previously describing it as a ‘surrender’ that would turn the UK into a ‘slave state’.
Writing in the Daily Mail – where else? – the Tory MP apologised ‘for changing my mind’ and admitted ‘by doing so I will be accused of infirmity of purpose by some and treachery by others’.
‘I have come to this view because the numbers in Parliament make it clear that all the other potential outcomes are worse and an awkward reality needs to be faced.’
And here are the only 7 responses you need.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, July 2018 on May’s deal: ‘This is the greatest vassalage since King John paid homage to Phillip II at Le Goulet in 1200. It is not something I would vote for nor what the British people voted for.’

Jacob Rees Mogg now says he’ll back the deal. Here’s him saying it will make us a “slave state” four months ago, but remember the public aren’t allowed to change their minds.pic.twitter.com/kBKR75fYvx

So Jacob Rees-Mogg can change his mind & vote for a Brexit deal he voted against twice before because the facts have changed, but he says it would be undemocratic for the public to have a 2nd ref & ratify the final Brexit deal now we are of the facts. The man is fucking deluded

Rees-Mogg wishes to vote again (for a third time) because the information he has access to and the circumstances have changed and he’s changed his mind. Why is this not an arguement for also putting the final deal to a public vote to assess if they agree with his change of mind? https://t.co/R1ZgKga0CM

Oh, and this.
Rees Mogg has just urinated all over his forelock-tugging fans. Today, many of them will thank him for the honour & claim it's what they voted for in 2016.

To conclude …
Rees-Mogg is allowed to change his mind and change his vote but the British people aren’t. #Shameful https://t.co/JHDknR6cae
