White House soap dispenser (or, why tech diversity matters)

Jesus Christ on a bike… we even programme stuff to be racist?

Well, hopefully not.
Since it is in the company's interest to sell soap, it's an error, not racism, and a costly one for them (redesign, update). Know your tech.

Maybe if the company that designed this employed a single dark skinned person they'd have found this problem earlier.

Try having a Scottish accent & using voice commands on a phone/car/elevator. Is it anti Scots? No, its just that the tech needs refining.

He’s not kidding.
