This clip of a Dalek throwing itself off a boat and into water has left us with so many questions

Just caught this funny clip from @swear_who, an account that adds swearing to Doctor Who clips.

It’s great isn’t it?

Watched it about five times now and it’s prompted us to look up the episode it’s from and find a clip:

The episode is called Flight Through Eternity from the series The Chase broadcast in 1965.

Anyway. Here’s our questions:

* Who thought it would be a good idea to stick Daleks on a boat? Have you ever been on a boat? All those stairs and narrow passages, Daleks would HATE it.

* Why does this Dalek just throw himself in the sea? Is this bad writing or just not budget to execute what was on the page. “C’mon lads, let’s just have him throw himself in the sea, the episode is broadcasting tomorrow”

* And the Dalek “yahhhh” scream just before he falls. Why did anyone think that was a good idea?

And to think people are worried Doctor Who might go to crap as the Doctor regenerates as a woman. Look at the show! LOOK AT IT!
