Pirate hijacks Nottinghamshire radio station to repeatedly play “I’m a wanker” song

Radio station Mansfield 103.2 has been repeatedly hijacked by someone who plays a song with the lyrics “I’m a wanker, I’m a wanker, And it does me good like it bloody well should.”

The BBC reports that eight times in the past month outside broadcasts have been hijacked and replaced with The Winker’s Song by Ivor Biggun. Attempts to catch the culprit have so far failed and some listeners had complained “their children have started humming the song”.

The station says there’s nothing they can do as the culprit is using a mobile transmitter, while they police says they would have to “catch him them the act”. Winker beware!
