Why you shouldn’t try and paint a bike sign “freehand”
A wonky bike sign on a cycle path has provided a laugh for locals in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, after a contractor “attempted to paint it freehand”, reports the BBC.
The wheelie badly painted sign appeared on a Sunday and was spotted by Paula Brown, who described it as looking “like a penny farthing”.
It could have been worsse – in 2015 this road in Tamworth, Staffordshire, had cocks accidentally painted all over it after council workers used the wrong kind of paint.
