Donald Trump’s phone call with the new Irish premier. In no way weird or creepy. Not one bit

Donald Trump’s phone call with the new Irish prime minister Leo Varadkar was unusual for a number of reasons.

First this happened.

“Well we have a lot of your Irish press watching us … where are you from? Go ahead, come here, come here, where are you from?

“We have all of this beautiful Irish press. RTE News? Oh good, Caitriona Perry, she has a nice smile on her face so I bet she treats you well.”

This pretty much sums up what people thought of the exchange.
