Say what you like about Theresa May – please! – but she racked up a number of firsts during this campaign. Oh yes she did.

She refused to be interviewed on Radio 4’s Today programme (as did Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn).

And she also refused to take part in any leadership TV debates. This was the closest Jeremy Corbyn got.
