In an article headlined, “Let’s Talk About Race”, they asked readers to think about the assumptions people make about race, prompting a huge debate online.

“I think the photos are brilliant. I don’t know how you can see them and not carry them in your mind the next time you enter a nail salon, shop for a toy, breeze through a posh hotel lobby.
Not only do they flip conventional scripts on their heads, they also ask us to pause and think how the world looks through the eyes of people who work in the service industry and are rarely acknowledged, let alone humanised.”
