Smallest, most terrifying rollercoaster in the world

The engineering genius of the people who built this is matched only by their stupidity. It’s a working rollercoaster on the back of a parade float, forchrissake.

On a float. And it works. And a guy actually gets in it (click forward 40 seconds to see it in action).

The terror to size ratio of this fairground ride is totally off the scale.

It was at a festival in Switzerland. Swiss manufacturing, eh? No wonder it went like clockwork.

And just in case you’re wondering – in which case you are probably James May – here’s how they built it.
