This sign outside a Bristol pub is pretty on the nose
@Dochackenbush over on Twitter has spotted this pub sign in Bristol which makes a great point about the intergenerational economic war we’re in.
That quote in full:
‘Remember when we cried as children & our parents said “we’ll give you something to cry about”? – We thought we were getting a smack – instead, instead they destroyed the housing market, quadrupled uni fees, melted the ice caps & voted Brexit.’
“So accurate it hurts..” writes @Nzerik.
‘”We’ll give you something to cry about” Wasn’t that Margaret Thatcher’s campaign slogan in the 1980’s?’ asks @Criticinc.
