Family builds mini ‘Blockbuster’ store for autistic son upset when it closed down
Here’s a tale to warm the cockles.
@javiii_Zuniga’s autistic brother was sad that his local Blockbuster video store was closing down – weren’t we all? – so his family made him a mini one at home.
To make it extra realistic, whatever film he wants to watch, they don’t have it in.
Like all the best movies – well, some of them – the story had people smiling and crying all at the same time.

Most people don’t understand how devastating changes in routine are to people with autism. This is cute but was probably very necessary. https://t.co/Ko6yC8qTkF

Yes, there really are still franchisee-owned Blockbuster Videos around, but now there are fewer of them. https://t.co/SazjRDEj6v
