UKIP unveil new personal digital assistant to rival Amazon’s Echo

UKIP are to enter the technology market with a voice-controlled personal assistant for true patriots, designed to rival the efforts of Amazon’s Echo and Google Home.

The ‘Kipper’ device will wake when it hears you say the trigger word ‘sovereignty’ – and is able to answer any questions you ask it, so long as the answer involves blaming foreigners, trade unions or Brussels fat cats.

It also releases the strong odour of ale and stale cigarettes throughout the day, to give your home ‘the cosy feel of the annual UKIP conference’. The device will also play a loud, rousing version of Rule Britannia at random times of the day, giving you a reason to stand to attention.

“Kipper is a great British leap forward for the tech-savvy great British public,” said a UKIP spokesman, who confirmed the device was designed and made in China, due to competitive pricing.

The Labour Party is also reportedly considered a similar device, though in keeping with party policy it is designed to quietly sit back and do fuck all while your house burns down.
