The Merriam-Webster dictionary comes to Ivanka Trump’s rescue when she doesn’t know what ‘complicit’ means
Luckily for her, Merriam-Webster was there to help. And guess what? It doesn’t mean being “a force for good”.

So “helping to commit a crime or do wrong in some way”, rather than “making a positive impact”. It’s not the first time they’ve helped improve Ivanka’s vocabulary.
📈'Complicit' also trended in March. We wrote about it then. https://t.co/HEqWBltPUc

Merriam-Webster also gained a few fans along the way.
