BBC man becomes first person to lose new £1 coin down back of sofa

Here’s BBC Breakfast breakfast presenter Dan Walker becoming the first person to lose the new £1 coin down the back of the sofa.

The new 12-sided, two-coloured coin is introduced to an expectant nation today and means we are going to have to design a whole new counterfeiting machine.

The BBC man’s fellow presenter Louise Minchin had a fit of the giggles after Walker lost his quid doing the “the first toss of the new pound coin.”

Er, what a tosser.
