Love this money-saving tip – man buys 56 separate rail tickets for ONE JOURNEY because it’s cheaper
We love this guy’s money-saving tip.
Jonny Heywood was travelling with his girlfriend from Newcastle to Oxford to watch a football match and bought 56 separate rail tickets instead of two to save money.
Thanks to @LeeTurnbull91 for the worst advice AV ever received. Get a split ticket to oxford he said. FIFTY SIX TICKETS ARE YOU HAVING ME ON pic.twitter.com/RuEyBBVHrz

Each ticket took him from one station to the next on the 300 mile journey (fortunately he didn’t have to get off at each stop, though), saving £56.
Unfortunately the joke was on him – his team lost 3-0.
