The funniest responses to Kellyanne Conway’s totally made up ‘Bowling Green Massacre’
Top Trump mouthpiece Kellyanne Conway – you remember, the one who went on about “alternative facts” – has been pilloried for using an alternative fact of her own to justify the president’s immigration ban.
Conway completely made up the “Bowling Green Massacre” in an interview on American TV, and said: “Most people don’t know [about it] because it didn’t get covered.”
Back in the real world, it turned out people don’t know about it because … IT NEVER HAPPENED.
Here’s our favourite responses on Twitter, beginning with the “Bowling Green Massacre Victims Fund”, a spoof fund-raising website which links to ACLU if you try to donate.

This is what Conway had to say about the “massacre”.
I bet it’s brand-new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. Most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.
