Queen said to be ‘deeply concerned’ after Donald Trump tweets about killing swans

The Queen is said to be ‘worried’ and ‘deeply concerned’ after president-elect Donald Trump went on a violent Twitter rant about his hatred for swans early this morning.

The anti-Cygnus tirade started at 4am, when Trump reportedly woke up after having had a bad dream that a riverside picnic with his family was ruined, after they felt menaced by a small group of swans.

“They were probably after your bread,” replied one supporter on Twitter. “You have great bread, the best bread. Those liberal cuck swans are so jealous!”

“As the biggest swan owner in Britain, Her Majesty is deeply concerned at Donald Trump’s provocative statements on social media this morning,” said a Buckingham Palace spokesman.

“It is unclear at this time if his hatred is directed only at swans he has dreamt about, or all swans in general. If it is the latter we fear it could provoke a serious diplomatic incident between the UK and our former colonies.”

“We urge the president-elect to be more diplomatic about violence towards birds – both real and imagined – during his upcoming presidency.”
