Meet Wanksy: an ingenious idea to force the local council to fix potholes by drawing dicks on the road

Shermanate over on Reddit has spotted an cunning idea to force the local council to fix potholes.

And the comment from readers is pretty positive:

• “Quickest way to get the city to fill them. I’ve seen potholes on my street last for 2 years, but 3 days after some kid put a dick around it, it was filled.”, notes Purpatraitor
• “During Halloween this year, somebody spray painted an orange “member” on my road. The police came out the next day to fix it and instead of covering the whole area, they just used black paint to go over the outline, so now we have a big black dick spray painted by the police on my road.”, writes VinBadaBing

There’s actually a Facebook group where this action is coordinated, they describe themselves as, “taking direct action by using art to highlight the dangerous potholes that damage our vehicles and harm cyclists on a daily basis.”
