8 times maths and logic were the enemy of opinion polls

TV and newspapers love opinion polls, but then sometimes stupid logic and stupid maths decide to get involved and ruin the whole bloody thing for everyone.

Sometimes the logic of the poll itself is the problem.

But sometimes the problems are a bit more obvious.

But let’s not just blame newspapers or TV channels – sometimes the problem is with us, the people – for example, the 4% of Americans who said they’d been decapitated.
