6 highlights from the UKIP conference in Bournemouth

UKIP’s annual conference began in Bournemouth today – Nigel Farage gave his last speech as leader, and Diane James was elected as his replacement. But some much, much more important things also happened.

1. We learned that rising carbon dioxide levels are a good thing.

2. UKIP’s youth wing was in attendance.

3. This person unironically wore a Donald Trump shirt (and crocs).

4. People had to endure some terrible rules and regulations.

5. And there was this hat. And moustache. The horror.

6. And with a change in leadership came the emotional handover.

Bonus highlight: the conference brochure that featured an ill-thought-out metaphor.
