This astrophysicist delivered a sick burn to a climate change denier and the whole internet cheered

Theoretical physicist Dr Catherine J Mack expressed her worry about global warming via her Twitter account and a climate change denier tried to put her straight – and FAILED.

Just read it:

Yes, @AstroKatie tweeted:

Honestly climate change scares the heck out of me and it makes me so sad to see what we’re losing because of it

Then the intriguingly named user Gary P Jackson (RAT) chipped in with his own comment:

Maybe you should learn some actual SCIENCE then, and stop listening to the criminals pushing the #GlobalWarming SCAM!

What he probably wasn’t expecting was Dr Mack’s comeback, which is a thing of beauty:

“I dunno, man, I already went and got a PhD in astrophysics. Seems like more than that would be overkill at this point.”

BOOM!

Twitter loved her sass so much that, at the time of writing, the exchange has almost 4K retweets as well as numerous screenshots bouncing around the internet.

And as Twitter user @finkowska points out: “there is not enough cold in the heat death of the universe to treat this magnificent burn.”
