Does Pepsi win the best marketing fail ever?

Twitter user Nathalie Gordon is getting lots of shares for this Tweet:

But is all as it seems with this highly shared Pepsi fail?

We were right on this image thinking this would be GREAT CONTENT for Poke readers – it ticks a number of boxes: it’s a bit rude, marketing going wrong is always funny and hey everyone has heard of Pepsi.

But… jizz?

The only word that would make sense here is fizz and it just doesn’t check out – googling the slogan without the rude word only finds this one image which suggests it’s not a marketing campaign.

Still, seeing as you’ve read this far we’ll tell you a little story. People get annoyed in bars when the staff say, “is Pepsi ok?”

But when THIS HACK JOURNALIST worked in a bar we were told we HAD to say this because of some combination of trade’s descriptions act and secret shoppers from the brewery that would be checking on us.

So there you go.
