My boyfriend is insisting I get rid of my Chinchilla, as he is “creepy” and “reminds him of a rat”, so here’s a little information if you’re interested in adopting him.

I’ve had him about a year, but I am not his first owner.

He’s not very friendly, doesn’t bite much, but he’s definitely not one to come cuddle you, even if it’s been a long day. (If you have the patience to work with him, maybe he’ll get better, I don’t know)

Definitely not good with children, doesn’t want anything to do with my 3 year old.

He’s VERY picky about his food. Only the best brands, and even with them he’s finicky and you can tell he just wants to complain. Nothings is good enough for the poor boy.

He is completely unappreciative of anything you give him. He won’t touch it. Just wants to sleep, eat, and be left alone.

I do believe he has potential. He’s very cute, and when in a good mood can be great company, but overall definitely needs a lot of improvement.
