Salford council has banned swearing in public, so people are responding with swearing

Salford council is trying to outlaw swearing in the posh docklands Quays area in a bid to curb anti-social behavior. Let’s just say people were less than amused, pointing out that aside from free speech issue, Salford has bigger problems than people with potty mouths.

Some mildly-sweary responses found their way onto the Manchester Evening News site.

On Twitter, where people don’t have to worry about making family-friendly comments, the language was a bit more salty.
