Virgin Australia say sorry after urging Kanye West to ‘eat a dick’ on Twitter
The airline apologised to Kanye West after it sent a ‘rogue tweet’ to its 210k followers urging the rapper to consume a penis, reports The Drum.
The dick-eating tweet was sent after Kanye tweeted out a review of his own album, which quite frankly, isn’t the stupidest thing he’s ever said on a social network.

Virgin Australia have since apologised, saying that the tweet didn’t come from them, honest guv’.

It’s not the first case of a ‘rouge tweet’ coming from a corporate account. In 2011 the American Red Cross accidentally tweeted about getting pissed up on booze.
It turns out their social media manager posted to the wrong account. Luckily the Red Cross had a good response.
