Are the Church Of England drunk? Because it looks like they’re trolling Richard Dawkins

Many on Twitter are saying that official Church Of England Twitter account is engaging in “epic trolling”, following their posting of a tweet claiming they are saying “prayers for Prof Dawkins and his family.”

The response on Twitter has been swift:

Of course, this could be in entirely good faith as wishing Dawkins well is the Christian thing to do.

But we do wonder if the Bishops* who run the Church of England Twitter account on the sherry this Friday night?

We at The Poke, of course, also wish the professor a speedy recovery, Twitter wouldn’t be the same without him.
