‘Netflix Socks’ will pause your show when you nod off
If you’ve ever fallen asleep while binge watching Netflix, there’s now a solution – “Netflix socks” have an accelerometer that detects when your body is so still that you’re asleep, and a signal is sent to pause whatever you’re watching, reports Time.
Bad news for the lazy though, you can’t buy the socks, you have to make them yourself.
Netflix provide step-by-step instructions on their site, so all you need are the skills to knit a pair of socks, solder a load of electronics together and do some programming. Simplicity itself.
