And the winner of the Pot Noodle time saving invention is…

SPONSORED BY POT NOODLE

Over the last month Pot Noodle asked the public for their best time-saving ideas. The entries were whittled down to three terrific inventions and YOU have been voting for your favourite, which will be turned into a working prototype and proudly displayed in Las Vegas, Nevada early next year.

And the winner is…

You clearly loved the idea of unlimited tea or coffee whilst on the go, as you voted for the portable mini rechargeable ‘kettle’ invented by 21-year-old Bianca Polizzi, who isn’t an engineer or a designer, but had the idea when she overslept after a late night out.

“I had to rush to catch my bus and I didn’t have time for a coffee,” says Bianca. “On campus I spent over six pounds on cappuccinos and that’s when it hit me. The Kettle Kup was born.”

Bianca’s idea came from thinking that because there was no hot water dispensing machines at uni, a portable ‘kettle’ would make life easier.

Bringing thermal coffee cups up to date with technology, the USB rechargeable battery pack would mean you could have unlimited coffee or Pot Noodle lunch times – just fill the cup with water and hit the switch to boil the water using the in-built kettle-like base.

It’s easy, time-saving (boiling only one cup of water at a time is very fast) and energy-efficient. It is now being developed in collaboration with a team of engineers who are helping Bianca create a prototype.

Make sure you check back in January, just to see how many minds were blown in Las Vegas…
