White Cliffs of Dover to take out restraining order against Nigel Farage
The English landmark has sought legal action to keep the UKIP leader ‘at a safe distance’ after Farage has been spotted repeatedly hanging around the cliffs.
“It’s really unsettling, he’s just there all the time – leering at me with his little piggy eyes,” said the Cliffs.
In legal documents filed with the high court, the Cliff’s lawyers state that Farage has been ‘consistently harassing the White Cliffs of Dover since March 2015’ and the former UKIP leader should be ‘banned from the entire Kentish Downs to ensure they can live without fear of abuse or exploitation’.
“I appreciate that to many I’m a symbol of England and you might think that it’s a bit odd that a 350 foot tall cliff could be afraid of one little man,” said the Cliffs.
“But Farage is making my life pure hell. He simply won’t leave me alone, and the smell of fags and ale is really hard to wash out of chalk.”
