You can now crowdfund the Greek bailout

A crowdfunding campaign has been started by a British man who is trying to raise €1.6 billion to help Greece pay off their IMF loan, reports Gizmodo.

Thom Feeney started the Indiegogo campaign – which currently has €210,493 pledged – to help bail out the Greeks. Aside from knowing you’ve helped out a fellow EU country, people who contribute will get:

Pledge €3 and get a postcard sent from Greece of Alex Tsipras, the Greek Prime Minister.

Pledge €6 and get a greek Feta and Olive salad

Pledge €10 and get a small bottle of Ouzo sent to you

Pledge €25 and get a bottle of Greek wine

And for €5,000, one kind hearted soul has already pledged for the ‘Greek holiday for 2’, an all inclusive jaunt to Athens for a week. Let’s hope they don’t expect to use any cash machines.
