Burglar pigeon breaks into man’s flat, lays egg in frying pan

A Norwegian man discovered a home-invading pigeon had laid an egg in the most appropriate spot – his frying pan, reports UPI.

The Metro says that Stian Fjelldal told the his locals newspaper that he was ‘disgusted to come home and find bird droppings and feathers strewn across the floor and walls’.

Yahoo reports that apart from pigeons droppings all over the kitchen in Oslo they also left a single egg surrounded by twigs on his stove (which was turned off).

You might think he had egg and chips for tea, but no – Fjelldal, who works for the Norwegian Environment Agency, says he’s considering bringing the egg into work to test for pollutants.
