Ikea bans hide-and-seek

Ikea has officially banned people from playing hide-and-seek in its stores in the Netherlands, reports Sky News.

Hundreds attended a hide-and-seek game at a store in Belgium last year and the idea is currently proving a hit in Holland and the Czech Republic, reports the Telegraph.

More than 19,000 people have signed up on Facebook for a planned hide-and-seek event at a store in Amsterdam in April, while another 12,000 signed up for an event in Utrecht.

Sadly the thought of 32,000 people trying to conceal themselves in IKEA stores has made the company a touch nervous, so they’ve now banned it on heålth and säféty gröunds.
