Japanese company offers wearable tomato-dispensing robot

Wearable tech is no longer limited to watches and glasses, because now a Japanese vegetable juice maker has gone one better – unveiling a wearable tomato machine, reports 3 News.

The Tomatan is a wearable robot that can be loaded with six mid-sized tomatoes, enough – claim the makers – to power runners through a marathon. The robot weighs in at around 8 kg (18 lbs) so it’s fortunate the runner will have all that energy-boosting tomato juice to guzzle

Slashgear report that the Tomatan robot will sit on the shoulders of one of the employees of Japanese tomato company Kagome, who commissioned the development of the robot, during the upcoming Tokyo Marathon.
