‘Uber Cradle’ Launched For Users Who Want To Be Carried Everywhere Like A Baby

Tech News: On-demand taxi and delivery app Uber is testing a new service aimed at users who want to be carried everywhere like a newborn baby.

Uber already has an established taxi service and is currently testing grocery and lunch delivery services in some U.S cities. If Uber Cradle also proves popular, the company says it could be rolled out worldwide next year.

“Like most people I find that walking or moving my body for any amount of time can be simply too tiring,” said one test user.

“Now I just click on the app when I want to move from my chair or bed, then a large burly man turns up a few minutes later, picks me up and carries me to wherever I need to go. Even the toilet!”

“Uber is all about convenience – that and reducing our user’s physical movement as much as possible,” said an Uber spokesman.

“Need a ride? Simple, use the Uber app. You want dinner or groceries delivered? Use Uber. You suddenly feel that the distance from your couch to your bed is simply too great for anyone as tired as you to make? Poor you! Use Uber.”
