Internet Cats And Dogs Make Plea For Privacy

Tech News: Cats and dogs that have given their owners a fleeting taste of fame on the internet are now asking for some degree of privacy.

“You’ve had your fun and felt incredibly popular, not it’s time to back the fuck up,” said one Chinese Shar-Pei whose owner has uploaded a slow motion video of him playing with a garden hose.

“I didn’t ask for you to stick that iPhone on my face. I just wanted to feel a jet of cold water on a hot summer’s day. Now I can’t go on any social network without seeing endless gifs and memes about it. I feel violated.”

Aside from the ‘constant baseless intrusion’ into their lives, other internet pets spoke of the condescending nature of many of these videos.

“So what if I don’t understand how hairdryers work,” said one Siamese cat who starred in a YouTube video that has had over half a million likes.

“Like you know the first thing about electric resistivity or ceramic heating elements. Just leave me the fuck alone and off the bloody internet.”
