Fishmonger Shark Attack Prank

A series of terrifying attacks by a ‘killer shark’ shattered the peace at a quiet North London fishmonger after one bloodthirsty beast was let loose amid the catch of the day.

But fortunately for the shoppers and staff at the fishmongers, this wasn’t a real shark – but a stunt dreamed up by special effects producers at Syfy to celebrate the release of Sharknado 2.

According to the press release; ‘Shoppers at Steve Hatt in Islington who were looking to top up on their Omega 3 got the shock of their lives as the shark centrepiece first twitched – and then thrashed – about on the counter, snapping its jaws and making customers scream, jump, laugh and even flee the shop in terror.’

And now actress Tara Reid is claiming a Sharknado could happen in real life as she promotes the sequel to the highly popular SyFy channel film.

In an interview the 38-year-old star says she believes a Sharknado could happen.

‘You know, it actually can happen,’ she told GQ Magazine. ‘I mean, the chances of it happening are very rare, but it can happen actually.

‘Which is crazy. Not that it – the chances of it are, like, you know, it’s like probably “pigs could fly.” Like, I don’t think pigs could fly, but actually sharks could be stuck in tornados.’

‘There could be a sharknado,’ she added of the TV movie which saw sharks not only fly and survive outside of the ocean but also climb ropes with their teeth.
