Artist Miriam Elia’s book delivers a wonderful takedown on the pretentious art scene via the medium of those Peter and Jane books.

‘I thought it would be humorous to see Mummy, Peter and Jane going to a really nihilistic modern art exhibition’, she said to The Independent. She’s now involved in a legal tussle with Penguin Books, which owns the Ladybird brand.
