Ah, the lovely, ‘impartial’ BBC for which we must all pay regardless. I always liken it to being forced to purchase a Daily Mail even if you hate it and never read it, but you have to buy to be permitted to buy a paper you do want! Criminal.

Yes, seeing as we all pay for the BBC, how about we all get a direct democratic say in how it’s run? Why can’t we elect the DG and board of trustees? Shareholders have that power with the companies they own, so why not license fee payers?

The BBC is nothing like The Daily Hate. They get pressured by that constituency into acting a certain way sometimes but the BBC is generally a good thing with its heart in the right place. Do you think Stephen Fry would have anything to do with the BBC if it was even an smidgen like that hateful rag?

Lux, you’re not forced to pay for the BBC. Don’t buy a TV if you don’t want it.

Wow! This coming from the BBC? Who has the biggest amount skeletons in their closet with all the pedophilia, rape cases with celebrities in the 70′s and 80′s – and they’re judging this lady? This is no time for them to be judging anyone. Hypocrites.
