Queen Ends Speech By Dropping Mic, Telling MPs “I’m Out”

Royal News: The Queen brought the State Opening of Parliament to a dramatic end yesterday, by dropping her microphone on the floor and telling MPs “I’m out.”

Her Majesty is thought to have taken inspiration from the rap battle scenes in the Eminem film 8 Mile, which she and Prince Philip reportedly watched on ITV4 the other night.

“She really connected with the tough times faced by rappers from inner city Detroit,” said a Palace spokesman. “Basically she’s had enough of the haters and wants the nation to recognise that her flow is untouchable.”

Buckingham Palace also confirmed that the the 87-year-old monarch will miss the Commonwealth Summit in November – the first time since 1973 – because she intends the rhymes and lyrics of her Christmas speech to be “off the muthafuckin’ chain”.

“My royal rhymes are unrivaled,” the Queen was overheard telling stunned MPs as she left Parliament, adding, “Fuck the beat, I go acapella.”
