BBC To Put ‘The Great British’ In Front Of Everything

Great British News: The BBC, makers of The Great British Bake Off, The Great British Menu and The Great British Sewing Bee, are to put The Great British in front of all their programmes in future.

“We hope that the the Great British public will join us for a big slice of Great British nostalgia,” said a spokesman for the corporation.

“We want to bring back that blitz spirit, made-do-and-mend, dig for victory, keep calm and carry on attitude! During World War II things were grim because we were fighting the fascists.

Now things are grim because of a global financial collapse – people urgently need optimism and at least a global war had an end in sight, unlike now.”

The BBC say the changes will start tonight, with The Great British BBC News at Six, followed later that evening by The Great British Snog Marry Or Avoid? on BBC Three and a repeat of The Great British Dad’s Army on BBC 2.
