Elle Magazine ‘Deeply Regrets Aiding Terrorists’ In Advice Column

Media News: Lifestyle and fashion magazine Elle has apologised after accidentally aiding a confused terrorist in a recent advice column.

The terrorist wrote to the magazine’s ‘Ask Elle’ column seeking advice on making homemade explosives from chapati flour and bleach, as well as help on choosing an appropriate bag to transport the bombs around in.

The column advised him to make sure the bomb mix ‘wasn’t too dry and cakey’ and recommended a printed canvas holdall from Topshop that struck ‘the perfect balance between practicality and style’.

“Since the first issue in 1945 Elle has sought to help its readers with their problems,” said a spokesman for the publication.

“Elle is the world’s largest fashion magazine, with 42 international editions in over 60 countries – so it was only really a matter of time before we accidentally provided advice on making homemade explosives.”

“Sadly this time our editorial judgement was not as impeccable as our sartorial judgement.”
