Facebook To Charge Users For Posting Pictures Of Snow

Web News: After high levels of snowfall in the UK, Facebook has announced plans to start charging users for posting pictures of snow.

The move comes just days after it was revealed Facebook charges users $100 to send a direct message to founder Mark Zuckerberg.

“Here at Facebook we are always looking for new ways to improve the user experience,” said a spokesman for the social network. “…and generate profits. Actually, it’s mainly about generating profits. Fuck your experience.”

“Facebook have spotted an easy way to generate substantial revenue,” said technology expert Dane Modem.

“If you imagine everyone who posts a photo on Facebook of a snow-capped roof or a half arsed attempt at making a snowman out of slush is paying for the privilege, then the company stands to generate millions.”

If profitable, Facebook has indicated it may charge users for other photo services – such as when someone uploads a picture and tags all their friends in it, despite the fact none of them are actually in it.
