Mother not so keen to hear explicit details of daughter’s fresher’s week

Education News: A mother whose daughter recently started University has expressed a wish to not hear in so much detail exactly what she got up to during Fresher’s week.

“We have a very close relationship, almost like sisters rather than mother and daughter,” said Judy Paaralan. “And I love the fact that she can tell me everything.”

“But when that everything involves her dressing up as a prostitute for a ‘Pimps and Hoes’ evening, downing a bottle of Martini and giving some boy she just met a hand job in the toilets then I’d rather not know.”

Paaralan also says she would rather remain in the dark about how many sexual partners her daughter has had so far in the semester.

“I understand University is the ideal place to explore your sexuality, but I just really don’t want my memories haunted by images of the three way in the halls of residence she giddily – and very graphically – described to me last week.”
