The Joy Of Sketch!

NEWS! The COFILMIC Comedy Film Festival takes place at The Comedy Store, Manchester on 29 & 30 October 2012.

A two-day smorgasbord of industry events, competitions, film screenings and live comedy, attended by some of the great and the good of the comedy industry across TV, film and live performance.

These include Henry Normal from Baby Cow, Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil (the writing duo behind Black Books and Little Britain), Charlie Hanson, (producer Life’s Too Short, Extras) and many more….

The Poke have teamed up with COFILMIC to support their, ever popular, filmed sketch category and will be sharing some of the most successful entries with you as well as encouraging you to submit for the festival, whilst there is still time!

Submissions close on 5th September and the maximum run time for sketches is 5 minutes.

Prizes include ‘money can’t buy’ face to face meetings with the likes of Charlie Hanson and TV commissioners and producers from BBC Comedy and Comedy Central.

In addition, you will get handed your coveted COFILMIC award at a glitzy ceremony on the last night of the festival.
