I’ve been putting off giving my husband the prompts that he so adequately deserves. We’ve been married 43 years and he’s been a dedicated husband and father. He is so selfless and unselfish. After my mother died in 2009, I brought my 92yr old father to live with us. Because of my work schedule, 7-7 my husband dropped off and picked up my father everyday until his death in October of this year. He never complained; he gives to our three daughters (who by the way are grown), he plays with our two grandsons, and supplies whatever they want or need. For birthdays, anniversaries, or just because he “gives”. He never asks for anything for himself. The only two things that I can think of for him are: he has a 73 corvette that he keeps in the garage and wants to reburbish, and secondly, he’s a huge sports fan of the Texans. I know the corvette is out, but it would sure be nice if he could attend the a super bowl game. He is more than deserving.
